Village Pantry
Many families and individuals in the Bankstown Community struggle to make ends meet and put food on the table. This project alleviates the pressure of hunger, allowing parents and caregivers to find a job and get back on their feet. Fresh produce from FoodBank, Aldi and Coles is donated during the week. Refugees, struggling families and others in the community, such as the unemployed, come along have access to affordable food and groceries.Â

From $10 – available daily Mon-Fri (booking required)
Our mini-market shop offers basic grocery items at affordable prices:
- Bread and bakery items from $1
- Meat & Eggs from $3
- Many other items eg. pasta, yoghurt, cereals, pet food starting from $1.
- Most items $5 or less.
