Reviving the Village

Our Story

We are a non-profit social enterprise who takes a holistic approach to empower vulnerable marginalized families with the right tools to 'thrive' and not merely survive.

Fostering Diversity and Cohesion

Our programs bring 27,000 people from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse nationalities together.

Everyone is Welcoming Here

Our members include but are not limited to, marginalised families, the homeless, people with disabilities and special needs, seniors, refugees, domestic violence victims and international students.

Awards & Recognition

CSS Community Value

A few days ago, we won The Volunteer team of the Year Award, we received the nomination and the recognition with joy and thankfulness. However, all we care about is our clients, our village. We work countless and effortless hours for our community wellbeing, making sure everyone feels welcome, heard, and supported in whatever way they need.

We are a lot more than helping hands and food, We are a Village, your Village! Come over and be part of it!

The ZEST Awards recognises outstanding projects and individuals for their impact on the community. Activities that improve social cohesion and community harmony on a local or regional level are those nominated, having been over 950 initiatives recognised across the past nine years. This year, on the 10th annual edition of the ZEST Awards, CSS got nominated for “2020 Outstanding project promoting social cohesion and community harmony award”. Even though we did not make it to the final prize, we are blessed for having our initiatives broadly recognised within NSW.

Our daily efforts and sacrifices go beyond providing emergency relief services; we revive the village and family values within the Bankstown and Canterbury area.

Especial thanks to anyone who has made our service possible, including regulatory and legal bodies, the council, our volunteers, sponsors, and donors. To our clients, thank you for having trusted us to walk by their side on their most difficult times and for whoever is still out there without not knowing what to do or how it can get help, reach out today.
